Last summer, my vet had a special on the DNA test. I didn't do it because I already knew what Rocky was. I'm hoping they offer it soon though, because I'm getting tired of the following conversation while out walking Baxter:
Person: He's beautiful! What kind of dog is he?
Me: Uhhh, I don't know. Maybe Australian Shepherd? Cattle Dog? His papers said part Beagle, but I'm sure that's wrong.
Baxter: <SQUIRREL!> *Tugs on leash*

David and Rocky (and Baxter now too!)
Rocky had his right front leg amputated on Valentine's Day 2017 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
He joined the September Saints on September 3, 2017.
He is the toughest, bravest, sweetest and best friend I'll ever know.

I love it! I think the whole idea is intriguing! I am kind of afraid to find out what Mitchell would be....

Spirits breed panel came out as follows:49.8% Siberian Husky, 18.2% Pyrenees, 10.1% German Shepard, 7.6% Malamute, 6.3 Rottweiler, 7.9% Supermut.
However, his Wolfiness is 30.7%…????
Hi! My dog looks mostly German shepherd and her Embark results came back 42% husky. Her score came back as 15.7% wolfiness. So cool! The other breeds that came up were pit bull, chow chow and redbone coon hound. So interesting. I loved getting this info.
I think they're pretty cool tests too! Wish they were around when our Chief Fun Officer Jerry was around.
It's so nice that you know your dog's background now!
