Why Vote for Nellie
Nellie is the honorary spokesdawg for Tripawds, a community supporting amputee pets and her people. She has a malformed forelimb due to an injury neglected by previous owners. Tripawds founders Rene and Jim adopted Nellie in 2022 after she was found roaming the streets in San Jose, California. She was on the euthanize list due to her condition. But don't tell her. She'll never let that slow her down. Nellie and her pack spent the winter in Willow, Alaska where she was often seen loving life, romping in the snow, and being pulled across frozen lakes in her sled. She was at the official 2024 Iditarod Restart in Willow and made friends with local mushers and their dogs. She and her people love Denali Brewing. Please vote for Nellie to help show the world that it's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four!
