We are going to attempt our first walk with the baby and all three dogs. We haven't even taken any of the dogs for a walk with baby yet (we've had a miserablish spring so far, not nice enough for baby until these last few days!)
We're sure to be a spectacle, with one tri-pawd dog leading the way, yanking us around as he always does. We'll also have a dog who is skittish with strollers probably jumping every time it makes a noise, a tiny baby who everyone thinks is brand new (but is now two months old! We still get looks like she shouldn't be out and about, though) and likely two exasperated humans bickering back and forth about why this was a bad idea I suspect Mina to be the only one who won't cause problems, although I'm sure she'll find something to get into.
Wish me luck! I will try to take pictures of what will either be an epic success, or absolute disaster!
WE need pictures!!!.....Especially of the bickering humans!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
You are brave. Can't wait to hear how it works out! Good luck!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Forget the pictures of humans- we need pictures of monkeybutts!!!
Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.
Do you have what it takes to be a Monkeybutt? Find out more at the Monkeybutt Federation
We chickened out
Little Miss was pretty cranky when we tried to strap her in the stroller and just wasn't having it, so we skipped the walk and later took Coda the monkeybutt to the dog park when the little miss was in a better mood. We still haven't figured out two monkey butts, a tripawd and a bipawd baby in the backseat just yet, LOL. But we are buying a mini-van this week so we have enough room for everypawdy in the back!
I will be sure to take pics when we do decide to brave the walk - the weather is not so nice to try today, but maybe tomorrow! We have to do it eventually, LOL.
Boy, those Monkeybutts must have to really act up to get some attention away from a tripawd AND a baby bipawd!
Hope you get the whole crew out together eventually. Looking forward to seeing pics of that!

When you do go, we HAVE to see the pics! This will be a first in Tripawd history. We can't wait to see you all take your first walk together.
