Hello Tripawds!
TotoPhoto is not a crocodile photography studio. Nor is it an anchovy, orangutan or balding eagle photography studio, it does not provide underwater or aerial photography services, unless it involves dogs. TotoPhoto likes dogs. At TotoPhoto we take pride in our work, and we let the dogs keep their pride too, even if their personality is that of a clown. We capture doggie antics, but never at the price of doggie dignity.
We are currently working on a photo book project featuring exclusively maimed / amputee / severely scarred dogs. The point is to illustrate that dogs do not feel sorry for themselves, aren't any less of a dog due to their disability and are just as lovely and loving as always. Any visible physical trauma is welcome (ears, eyes, limbs, body).
We are searching for models in the New York area. Although all Tripawds are obviously fitting, we simply cannot photograph everybody and will have to be selective. Please contact info [at] totophoto.com with a snapshot of your cutie pie, a few details about the trauma, your location and whether you would be able to come to our studio in Brooklyn. (Groups in a park might be possible as well.)

Hello everybody,
We have already received quite a number of inquiries.
Between our fashion, commercial, and event photography work, we have but precious time to devote to the book project; our answers cannot be instantaneous but every single email will be replied. Yup, every one. We will keep an eye on this thread as well, feel free to post!
As of now there are 3 tentative dates for the Brooklyn studio:
July 3rd
July 10th
August 7th
If all the timeslots in one day are booked (4 per day), I will take it off the list here.
Now we understand that not every doggie is Tripawd, but we are interested in photographing other dogs as well for our fine art projects, sometimes of a certain breed, other times of no breed at all.For example right now we'd like to photograph an Old English Sheep Dog.
Please send us a couple of images of your puppy!

Rumbles has an appointment on July 10th. He's very excited...that is until he finds out that he'll need to have a bath before the shoot!

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thank you all! The puppies were absolute sweethearts!

So the Boxer is Rumbles?! I knew he was handsome, but I didn't know he was so studly! I've followed Rumbles' story since he came on board, and he has had the most incredible and interesting life. Born in a Turkish harem, rode on a magic carpet to a foreign land, lost a limb in the war, etc. And now a MODEL? Are you putting me on? Rumbles' family, I'm sure you know how charmed this boy's life is. What a guy!
Oh, I forgot. He also plays professional football!
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
