Trouble was diagnosed, had a consult, and had her amputation. That was Monday - Wednesday that week, but today is her actually ampuversary date. We began our 27 1/2 month tripawd journey three years ago today. Within a few weeks Cherry, Tika, Max, Trouble, and Nova became known as the November 5. There was an alliance, a friendship, a bond as the five heroes made their journeys. Today the five are in my mind and in my heart right along with Trouble. What a true inspiration the group was. And Nova remains today, three years later, cancer free. What an awe inspiring story for those who are just beginning their journey.

The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Even though she's been gone for many months, Trouble is such a huge part of both Tripawds and of you, Shanna, that she'll always be here. Every time I see her smiling face, I can't help but feel that she's out there somewhere, keeping an eye on us, and especially, watching over and loving you.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thank you for continuing to share your experience and knowledge with others who are just starting their journey. You are truly a very special person, Shanna.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

This time of year always makes me miss loved ones that are no longer here but whom I hold close in my heart! I understand that Trouble is very much a part of your heart! She is missed but we are... oh so glad that you are still here to share her story and Tripawds with us.
So...we will remember her and her friends today with a "shout out" to heaven and some left over turkey!
