Despite the trying time we are going through, I wanted to express how thankful I am for all of the blessings, too.
I am thankful for each and every one of you, my new friends. There are no words to express how much your advice and support have meant. I would never wish this experience on anyone, but it is comforting to know that we are not alone.
As you all know, the speed with which all of this happens (diagnosis, surgery, recovery....) leaves you feeling as if your life has been thrown into a blender with absolutely no amount of sleep added to the mix. That leaves so little time to spend researching thousands of websites on what should be expected, what is normal, what is right, and so on. To have those resources all in one place is priceless.
I am also grateful for wonderful employers who have allowed me to bring my baby to work with me. I've been a paralegal for 18 years and I can't imagine another law firm that would allow that. The Senior Partner has fallen so in love with Zeus that he told me he wants him to keep coming even after the recovery period. That is the best gift or bonus he could ever give to me!
Thank you all. For everything. I wish joy and wonderful times to each of you caring for a tripawd baby. I wish peace and strength to each of you who have lost your special one. If Greg and I can EVER be of any help to any of you, please let us know.

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Although we lost Skyler 18 months ago, I still come here when I can to be supportive for others. We received so much help & support when we were going through all the chaos of diagnosis, surgery, etc - we couldn't have dome it without Tripawds help.
You'll never find a better group of people here who will become lifelong friends. So, welcome to the Tripawds family! Please keep us posted on his recovery, and post some more pics of him!

Lisa, that is so sweet, we are thankful for you and Zeus being a part of Tripawds too! It's the people who take the time to be here and support one another throughout all of the head-spinning events like recovery, chemo, etc., that make Tripawds so special.
