While we are not ready to take on a new dog of our own, I got a call from my aunt today whose friends need a temp home for their two dogs for a few months. . So it looks like we will be fostering two. ....chihuahuas Lolol. It'll be a bit of a change from our big guy but it'll keep us company until we find the right dog to adopt someday. I thought I'd share the news
Lori and Angel St chuck
Ohh yaaaay!!!!!!! What fun!!!!!!!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. "Like" Jill's facebook page: https://www.fac.....tty?ref=hl Proud member of the WINTER WARRIORS!!!! Her blog can be read at http://jillsjou.....ipawds.com. xoxo
LOLOL, indeed! This will be a REAL experience. Good for you for helping out, though. It will make the house seem less empty.
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Well, I didn't change sizes so quickly...
I had a Newfie mix that I found when he was a puppy. Bo was about 150 pounds and when he stood on his back legs he was about 5 feet tall. I didn't have dogs for many years after I lost Bo, but when I got a dog again it was a pug!! The only similarity was that they both were black.
St. Chuck is saying "look, Mom got some new squeaky toys"
Good luck with your new little charges!

Lmao I love the squeaky toy reference lolol I think chucks toys were even bigger than these guys. Haha but yes, he's laughing at me from above. Little dogs hated him but he loved them lolol.his bffs were a mini Poodle and a. Pomeranian, so maybe he's trying to expand my love of the itty bitty dogs it'll be fun. Probably won't get them for a month but they will stay through spring..
Lori and st chuck
Doggie sitting is sooooo much fun!!! Good for you!! I'm sure Chuck is just chuckling at the thought of these dogs even trying to play with his toys... I know he would not mind sharing.. lol
Christine.... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
I'm glad you'll have the company of dogs for awhile, especially if you aren't ready for one of your own. What a big heart you have The size will be an adjustment, I'm sure. We have some of those ankle biters running around our office. I am always so afraid I will step on them!
Nice to hear from you !
