This is a totally unimportant post, but since I changed my signature I thought I should clarify that all this time I was saying Shooter was 12-1/2 years old when he is actually 13-1/2 years old (he'll be 14 in September). Wow - obviously my counting skills have gone downhill and it only took me 5 months to figure this out . Oh well, he is very young acting for his age so maybe I can lay part of the blame on him!!!
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Well, Shooter lobs off his leg and now he's trying to lob off a year or so? Vanity crosses all species!
Was wondering when we would get an update s this will do! Would have preferred a photo too now that we know you are a year older!! I tell ya' what though Shooter, you are a the looking senior!
Now Shooter, this journey can be rough on us humans sometimes because we have a harder time living in the moment like you dogs do. So be gentle on your mom and don't take advantage of her counting skills. You know, don't tell her she only gave you one cookie when, in reality, she gave yo five!
So Shooter, congratulatios on joining the Tripawd Hall of Fame for Seniors who get amputations t THIRTEEN YEARS OLD:-) What an inspiration you are young man!! Excellent model for seniors!
We love you Shooter! We really do! Good mob "young" man!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
