I know some of you followed the 2 Dogs 2000 Miles walk. This was on the Chase Away K9 Cancer facebook last night Thought I would pass it on

Our thoughts and prayers are with Luke, Hudson and Murphy as Murphy has
been diagnosed with nasal adenocarcinoma. Luke, Murphy and Hudson
recently completed their "2 Dogs 2,000 Miles" journey from Austin to
Boston to raise awareness of canine cancer. Now Murphy is at CSU
undergoing radiation treatment for his tumor. Please everyone, send
good healing energy out for Murphy. Luke Robinson

Thank you Shanna, we had heard about it but weren't sure if Luke was ready to go public with it. It's just the worst, saddest irony that this has happened to Murphy and his pack. We send our love to the boys.

Thank you for posting this. We've known for a while now, and were wondering about how to exactly share this news with the Tripawds community. Our hearts break for Luke and Murph and we wish them the best. Murphy is in good hands at CSU and we hope to see them soon.

No one is safe from this horrible disease. We can only hope research finds a cure. This is indeed an unbelievable irony and a sad time for all of us who followed the walk.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

It's been a ruff month for the 2 Dogs crew. Ginger's dog Pete was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor within days of the news about Murphy. So they will both be in the Cancer Can't Keep A Good Dog Down Calendar this year. Speaking of which, the deadline to submit photos has been extended until Sunday, August 9!
Good news though ... I just got off the phone with Luke who confirmed he and Murphy will be at the Longmont Tripawds Pawty next week!
