Don't get me started. You weren't around during the database debacle when we skipped a couple versions during a forum upgrade. If we ever want to take advantage of the advanced security, quicker performance, improved feaures yada, yada, yada... the only way is to remain current. Resistance is futile.

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

If resistance is futile, persistance may pay off. Our team of trained monkeys has been working diligently behind the scenes here and WordPress 3.0 is now running on the test site. This upgrade may not be as painful as expected. Will report back after forums get updated.
Theme werk is turning out to be the biggest challenge so we may just put that off, once again. Any feedback regarding the general impression of load times and performance of this site with it's current presentation is appreciated.

OMG....I just now checked back on this topic...and I didn't check the date and saw a post by me and didn't remember doing it and thought maybe I had been doing shooters IN MY SLEEP!!!!
Then I saw the video....and snorted coke out of my nose....DIET COKE ALL YOU GUYS WHOSE JAWS DROPPED DOWN....DIET COKE!!!! You know....I really expected at the end of that video to see the car driving away, a pan back to the printer, and a copy printing out.......

OK! First the reason for the reply – Before this "update" we used to have a link on the member's avatar that provided very useful information from their profile – like ampuversary – name – email etc. It no longer appears to be functional. Please reinstate if possible.

Once more, it was operator error on Dad's part. Somehow you just cannot teach that "old dog" any new tricks. He just needs to move over and let me at the keyboard. Thanks for straightening him out.
