It really wasn't my intent to confirm all the old timers were nut cases, but it's a great group to belong to!

I must be doomed...I'm starting out early in life with a tripawd and I am fairly confident there will be more in my life someday....

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Yes, Nichole.  You are DOOMED!  We have already accepted you into the tripawd society.  It's like being in the abyss.  Once you're in, we never let you out!

Since Chloe is a liiter mate of Spirit Skyler's, we are constantly patting her down and dissecting every move/mood she makes. We feel like we're always on "red alert" - cancer sure does SUCK! Thank goodness, so far Chloe is doing well, except for having the itchy-scratchies from allergies.

Poor Chloe.  We've been on the allergy train since Trouble was a pup.  I know how miserable it is for not only Chloe, but for you as well.  Trouble took Atopica until her cancer Dx.  Now we just fight it with ongoing antihistimines and a round of prednisone when it gets really bad.  Can't begin to tell you how many nights I've stayed awake to keep her from scratching or licking. She would lick her paws until they were raw and bleeding - Yuk!

If you haven't tried it yet, tea tree oil is some pretty amazing stuff for stopping the itch.
