Just a brief note for the Tri-Pug lovers out there ...
Patrick McDonnell announced in his Musings blog yesterday that the August 16th issue of Time magazine contains a detailed cover story by Jeffrey Kluger titled "Inside the Minds of Animals."
We know of at least one Mod Pawd member who will be picking up a copy!

I don't know who they are talking about. I don't need any "New science" report to convenience me that they are smarter than most people have realized. Joking aside, I bet it's a great read and who could resist that cute little pug face anyhow. It will probably be the best selling issue Time magazine has every had.
Fortis'Dad
Can't you hear the collective 'awww." That face alone will sell a gazillion copies even if no one reads the article.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
So cute! I will definitely be buying this issue when it hits the newsstands!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
