This has been all over the news in our area. She unfortunately appears to have been used as target practice. Her front leg was amputated and now both her rear legs need surgery too. In less than 24 hours, they raised more than enough money for her care (the love from the community just melted my heart). I just wanted to share on here so maybe the Tripawd Nation can send some prayers her way, she's going to have quite a recovery.

That is just awful! I don't see how anyone with a conscience can be so cruel. I hope that they go to prison and the dog survives and prospers. The sad thing is that the dog would probably lick the face of the people who did this to her.

Wow. The fact that so many people cared enough to help this dog is what gives me hope for humanity. I know this pup will go on to teach the world great lessons on love and forgiveness. She is definitely in our hearts.

Cody is our 7 year old Australian Heeler mix boy. Diagnosed on 2/20/14 and became a tripawd 2/21/14! We chose a homeopathic approach and he is being treated by Dr. Loops our of NC.
