Well Sassy is really guiding me in a path that I wish I had taken her on. I wanted to but never really thought about how to go about it. Tonight Snickers & Jazz had graduation for their Intermediate Obedience Class. The next one starts next week & its for advanced and at the end of that one we take the Canine Good Citizen test. Then I want to find a therapy program here and start them on that.
I really wanted to do that with Sassy she would have made the greatest therapy dog so in her honor I am trying to get it done with Snickers & Jazz.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Way to go, ladies. aAnd you are ladies now, aren't you? Doesn't seem possible.
Murphy would have had a very difficult time accomplishing what the girls have. His beginner class instructor said he was the class clown.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Kathi, I was running to keep up with Okey Dokey Smokey in agility classes and we knew that wasn't the "proper" way to do it, but he had so much fun and was so FAST, neither I or the instructor cared. We were just there to have fun. We have a nearby training facility that has very small classes so it's really good. Am planning to take our new GSD "girl" (she's 7-ish) for some new activity soon.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

SOOOOOO awesome!!! not sure how she passed but Shelby was a Canine Good Citizen and we did visits to elderly homes as part of the Visiting Pet Program in New Orleans. We LOVED it. So much fun. So much joy to be brought! Congrats!!!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
