So, there is this book - which I highly recommend you all read called A Letter to my Dog (http://www.alet.....omydog.com). The book is filled with beautiful pictures and letters written to dogs, by their pawrents (some celebrity dog owners as well).
A few months back, someone on Tripawds (I can't remember who!) told me they were writing a sequel and wanted submissions for A Letter to my Cat. I went online, submitted the letter and a picture of Jill and never heard anything.
Well. THEY WANT JILL! I got a phone call, they are coming to the city this weekend and want to do a photo shoot with Jill. This does not mean she will 100% be in the book, however, this is what the woman wrote to me in an email:
"This means you have a EXCELLENT chance of being in the book! I think you and Jill have a fantastic story and that your letter is beautiful... We really aren't shooting with people we don't plan to put in the book, however, the final say is determined by my boss and our publisher Random House, so I can't promise anything, although I think your chances are very good!"
HOLY COW. I need to clean my apartment FAST, get a haircut....pick out an outfit....does Jill need a bath!? 
Is Brudder gonna try to photobomb every pic!?

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. I KNEW IT!! I did! I KNEW it was just a matter of time before Jill hit the big time!! And, yest, this is big time! HOWEVER; it still is a stepping stone to even bigger things!! I mean it!
HOLY COW! HOLY MOLY! HOLY ROLLERS! and HOLY S--T! This is just great! There is NO way they cannot put Jill in their book!! No way! The whole Tripawd community will be on Random House's doorstep! Can you imagine a thousand three legged dogs holding up protest signs with their little tripawd paws??
And Brudda leading the chant! !"What do you? We want Jill! When do you want ner? We want jer NOW!" Lf course, Brudda's sign will say " For a good time, call 1_800 STUD BRUDDA"!
Okay, Happy Hannah said she wants to nelp clean up yiur apt. Don't worry about the dishes, she'll lick 'em clean them. Don't worr about vacumming, drop a crumb on the floor and she'll have 'em "spit shine clean in no time!
Yeah, lock Brudda up during the photo shoot and perhaps.....it pains me to say this....perhaps a little strip of duct tape across his kitty mouth. Jist to be safe.
Now Erica, you jave to video the photo shoot....or at least take ictures so we can see the big day! That would be sooooo neat to see!! We can all say "we knew her when......"
This is goi g to be so much fun to watch unfold! When is the big day?

So today was the big day! Jill was an absolutely angel for the photographer. I'll detail more in my blog, but needless to say, they just loved her. Jack was making them laugh all morning too, he was definitely trying to steal the show, so he got some pics taken of him as well. They also took some great video of her that they are going to send to me, so I'll be sure to share!

Luanne and Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
