OMG.... he's adorable!!!! Welcome HOME Scooby!!!!
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Congratulations on your new pup. What a lucky guy!
Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

Kate,
You were sent an extra special boy. Welcome Scooby. Angel Prudy did well for you. Thank you for rescuing Scooby and making him have a home in his senior years. 🙂 And it doesn't matter he isn't a Tripawd (I don't have one anymore and I am still welcome once part of the Tripawd family always are)
Keep us updated with Scooby and his new home

WELCOME TO YOUR FOREVER HOME SCOOBY!! And welcome to your extended family!!
Kate, I am thrilled beyond words! I KNOW the void and the silence were almost unbearable. For you to give Scooby and chance to help fill that void, to help bring you companionship, to help bring you love and joy.....I'm just all teary eyed over here! And now Scooby will know what love and joy feel like. He will no longer have a void in his life or lack for companionship.
Scooby is just ADORABLE! And Scooby fits him perfectly!
As soon as you can, tell us how the first few nights were like when you first brought Scooby home. Was he timid and unsure? More like..."Yeah, this is my home!"? Is he sleeping in the bed with you? Does he jump up on the sofa? Housetrained? Do you know anything about his background? How much does he weigh?
You have such a loving heart Kate. I know it is still broken. I also know Pru sent you Scooby to help heal it little bit by little bit. You are celebrating Pru's life in such a beautiful way...giving your love to a dog who needed you so desperately. You are a Saint!
Okay now, this is just the start. Please post more pics as soon as you can snd tell us more about her personality. I'm sure he'll blossom in your home and with your selfless love.
Love to you!
