Those of you who know me know that I have been in school the last 2 years and busting my butt to start a totally different career. I finished my degree in June, finishing up with a 4.0, but the only the only thing I had left to do was to take a national certification exam. I have been applying for jobs, but everyone keeps saying to come back once I have the certification. So I've been busting my butt once again to study for this exam and yesterday I took it.
On my way out the door to the exam I was so nervous…. I kept telling all my friends to "wish me luck". I had heard the test was hard, and I really felt I needed it, as I only studied for 2 weeks rather than the suggested 3-4 months. I just couldn't wait that long to get employed. On my way out the door I stopped to give my Nova a hug, and I laughed because my husband always says we should change her name to "Lucky". 3-legged blind dog, happiest dog in the world, cheated death a gazillion times…. yep…. she is just about the LUCKIEST dog in the world. So I ran back to my room to put on my good luck charm… my 3-legged pawprint pendant with Nova's name engraved on the back. I figured if I needed luck, Nova was the ultimate source!
The exam was scary. Each question was confusing, and when I was done I can honestly say that I wasn't sure I would even pass. But when I was handed my score I looked down at it and saw that I had scored a perfect 400 out of 400 points. WHOOO HOOOO!
Long Live Queen Nova aka Lucky!

Something tells us this had more than luck to do with it. But Woo Hoo indeed! Congratulations.

Can I borrow your dog?
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Congratulations! OMG that is wonderful!
I think you need to send Nova around the country, you know, like Barney! That way we can all have Nova's excellent good fortune!
You will find a job faster than you think. With scores like that and Nova on your side, you can't go wrong. Good luck!

Awesome job, Sue! It doesn't matter where that luck comes from, so long as it follows us where ever we go. Obviously, Queen Nova knows this ;).
Thanks for sharing your faith in your awesome companion.
