Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
i must say our friend comet in heaven made this video for sammy and me - she's our angel!!!
sammy and i have so much in common:
- we both have black fur
- we both have brown eyes
- we both lost our right front legs to cancer
- we both love to smile
- we both have the best mom/sister in the world
- we both understand the value of medicinal napping
- we both know to value each and every moment of each and every day

Charon, I was talking with Sammy this morning, we got our little suprise to Gayle mailed out today. He sniffed it before it went in the package and gave me a super Sammy grin. He said to tell Gayle he is so happy, there is nothing better in this world than the love of a brown eyed girl.

I didn't know Gayle was also a right front amp. She is so pretty! And with all their other happy dog connections, this love is meant to be.

I thought of that before and was going to make a wise crack about pulling a sleigh in the snow, something about the two of us being able to hold each other up, tied together kind of thing. I could never work it out and now the snow is gone… Maybe because it is now summer a Roman chariot? We would be magnificent! Very muy macho…
