Lexie says: Who cares if I'm 14 and you're 2, Tanner? I think you're pretty cool.

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.

Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. OHHHHHHHHHHH. MYYYYYYYYYYYY DOGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

YES! This did indeed capture the relationship between these two! It was an instant connection from the get-go!

If I recall, Lexie made the first move, being the liberated woman of age that shemis, and Tanner was, "Alright girlfriend, let's have a whirl at this thing called love"!!! It was absolutely delightful to watch these two! Yeah, every now and then they would go play with somebody else, but they always gravitated back to each other. It has to be two souls reunited from a previous life!! There clearly was a familiar rarity.

Deb, the videos you took were absolutely masterful! And the song could not have been more brilliant! I think we all truly cherished being together in a way that only those of us who are on this tripod journey could understand. Just like our relationships with our dogs are unbreakable, the relationships we have with each other are also unbreakable.

And kudos again to the too human men in our lives who were there helping referee the activities of the dogs constantly! They were also of immense value when it came time to load up the cars with all of our paraphernalia and, in my case Eric helped tremendously in loading up Myrtlel into my car!

,,Tanner and Lexie, please invite is all to your wedding okay? Lexi you may need to be aware that Tanner did appear to sort of play the field if you know what I mean. But hey, as long as you're getting your needs met its all good! You rock on girl, rock on!

MUCH LOVE!

Sally and Happy Hannah Myrtle

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Beautiful video Deb! Awesome. It is so great to see them play like that and there was definitely love in the air! You are so right age is just a number! Lexie- you go girl and Tanner you dawg! Sally - couldn't agree more with what you said! It was an awesome day for all goggles and owners.
My husband Shannon and I have really struggled some with wondering if we made the right decision and our little outing really helped us see that Zach is happy and getting along fine- I can't thank you all enough!
Lexie girl you are mighty energetic for a 14 year old!

Shan n on! YeS! THAT ' his name! I think you figured out, since I was calling him "your husband" (or actually assigning him to Deb as her husband), that I could not remember that nice man's name!

OMD! No way you could doubt your decision now after seeing Zach Sunday! I can tell you right now, that man holds his age very, very well! If I had not known he is twelve, I would have thought mayb eight! Seriously! And what I loved so much about him was the "wisdom" he displayed in communicating with the other dogs! Sometimes he would just sit back and you could almost see him laughing at the crazy pups......well, one particularly crazy one (Tanner)!

When he decided the time was right, he would jump in and play just as in a puppy would! And when things got a little haywire, he would give a little admonishment to settle everybody down. Zac was certainly the "bark of reasons'"

One thing for sure, however much time Zach has, or any M of M us n have, that dog is thoroughly enjoying life!! GREAT DECISION to give him the chance to Co tinge to enjo H life and love!

Can you all tell we had a great time M or what! Clearly we are not letting this pawty end!clap

HUGS AND LOVE TO YOU AND ZACH...AND THE VERY NICE SHAN N ON

Love this!!!! So cute! XOXO

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

I agree, Zach certainly held his own...every time I looked at him, he seemed to have a great big smile on his face! He may have been the wise old man of the bunch, but it sure was hard to tell! I believe it was Zach who got all the tripawds riled up when "the outsiders" would walk by..and I believe it was he who taught Ms Myrtle how to use her voice LOL.

Do I hear wedding bells?

Deb,
I completely agree with everyone here, and what a precious keepsake this video is!! I have to say, for 14 years old, Lexie certainly does not look or act like a 14 yo pup, especially being a Tripawd. They both are adorable, and even more adorable together.....!! laughing

Love,
Bonnie & Angel Polly
