Merry Christmas from cold, snowy Idaho. The sun is out this morning, but it's still too cold for us to feel like getting out and moving around.
The photo was taken last night after the family melee. Gus kept trying to steal the bows off of all the packages. He's so proud of himself when he brings them to me. Murphy just wanted to tear paper.
The video was this morning. They had great fun opening packages.

Later today we will celebrate Murphy's fourth birthday with a cake.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

It just doesn't get any better than that.
