Wow! 2 Months already! My Jill is just thriving on three legs. Thank you Thank you Thank you to this community for all the support you have shown us. I've said it so many times, but there is NO WAY I would have made it through the first part of Jill's journey without my new family here. Jill is going to celebrate today by getting a TON of belly rubs before she goes for chemo round #2 tomorrow (so happy this appointment did not fall on her ampuversary!!!)

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Ah, Jilly Bean! You are too cute. Hoppy 2nd Ampuversary, girl! You are looking great and that whole 'cancer looks good on you thing', well, it kinda does cuz you are fabulous!
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Wow! Two months flew by quickly! I know you probably didn't think that since you've dealt with the emotions and recovery and all that, but Jill really looks like she's been lovin' life on three legs for a long, long time, she is such a great Tripawd!
Hoppy Ampuversary Jill, we are so proud of you! I know you are going to beat this cancer thing like nopawdy's business!
Thank you for being so brave to come join us and hang with the doggies. See, we don't bite! You have opened the door to more feline members, and we can't thank you enough for expanding our community and becoming so involved. Yipeee!

Happy Ampuversary! What a sweet, sweet kitty. Oh my...rub her belly for me!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

I'm so glad Jill's done so well as a tripawd! I'm also glad she's broadened our little group here. We didn't bite and she didn't scratch--we should show some politicians how it's done!
Go to chemo tomorrow and get a whole lot of hugs from the folks there, Jill. Soak it up because you're a pretty girl and deserve it.
