The beans are almost gone, but Gus and Murphy are both searching for any stragglers.
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

I showed Hapy Hannah how Gus and Murphy get their dog treats! She was realy ticked because they didn't have to climb stairs to do it!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thank you, Jerry! That garden is coming to a crashing halt very soon. We are supposed to be sub-freezing several nights next week. I guess it's time to pack it in, but I keep hoping...
By the way, Hannah, when Gus went to the vet this morning to have stitches removed (a benign growth on his side, but he's another story), Murphy went leaping up the six stairs to get into the office. I had him do it three more times, just to imprint it in his mind that it was possible. When we got home, I had Gus go upstairs with me and called Murphy. He stood at the bottom and said, "Uh-uh! I don't go up those stairs." Dad went and got his harness and he came up with a bit of coaxing. We will be away this week, but next week...watch out! Murphy will be in the running for best stair climber.

WELL i'll be darn! This stair climbingnthingmis beginning t really catch on! Amd it's avout eight mnths for Murhy too, right? Must be all tose green beans!Or, in Hapy Hannah's case, all those cookies and kitties!
Love the iprnt "attempt"! You now the whole time Murhy's thiking, "This is just so much easier with my harness n, why should I exert myself?"
