Sorry it's been so long since we've been here... just wanted to say that our absence hasn't meant we haven't been thinking about all of our tripawd friends!  Holly celebrated her 14 month ampuversary last week, and Zuzu celebrated her 1st birthday 2 weeks ago - so we've been pawtying like its 1999!! 🙂
Holly continues to amaze me. Â She is doing great! Â Today we took a long walk, and she just loves being out in the neighborhood. She's got a bad tooth, so this week is going in to have it removed and the rest of her teeth cleaned. Â The vet will also do films. Â Her last films were about 4 months ago and were clear. Â She'll be flashing her pearly whites with her crooked little smile this week! Â She still gets really worked up when the mail gets delivered, or when we drive by a mail truck. The squirrels are getting more active now, and she's back to patrolling the back yard with Zuzu to be sure they stay OUT!
Anyway, we just wanted to say "hi!" to everypawdy. Â We'll try to touch base more regularly...

 Mom's been working way too much lately.  What's up with that?  Doesn't she know her priorities should be:

I especially like getting scratched behind my ears, so that should be number one. Â Then playing tug with my toys. Â Then getting plenty of treats. Â I guess she's still doing all of those, but jeesh!
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Oh!!!! Holly and mom, it's so good to hear from you! We know you are thinking of us and we, too are always thinking of you. We miss you but sometimes stooopid work gets in the way of fun!
And 14 months - well that's worth celebrating! Little Cosmo came with Comet's appetite so he'll really enjoy the extra treats!Â
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

Happy ampuversary Holly, seems like several of our buddies have been hitting big numbers latelty, a good club to be in, Paws up, Spirit Gus and Dan
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010

Congratulations Holly! I'm so glad to hear your life is good, wish mom would stop working so hard, but you must understand, you tripawds are a little draining on the old wallet!
14 months is definitely a cause for celebration. I think the dog in my house and Trouble (she isn't a D-O-G, ya know) will have the last wiener in the pack to celebrate.

14 months!! Wow I am impressed! Way to go Holly. Sorry about that bad tooth. I hate the dentist! Hope your visit goes well and your films are perfectly clear again.

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
