She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Wooo hooo! We sure did. Spend the weekend in a quiet place in the woods, far from the madness!

The 4th was also our 32nd wedding anniversary. We celebrated in New Orleans. Had a great dinner and went back to our room to watch the fireworks on the Mississippi River at 9. It was peaceful and beautiful, and even better not in the New Orleans heat and the crowd!
