I know that I don't post on here much, but I do read a lot of the posts. Anyways, I just want to share that today my parent's/the family's dog Phoenix is celebrating her 6 month ampuversary! She is celebrating right now by sleeping (with the other dogs and my dad 
). She will probably get some pizza tonight to celebrate. So far she seems to be doing well, she is ready for spring and summer, so she can play in to the pool. She also still loves her tennis balls! Since we don't post here much I thought I would share the link to her blog again http://phoenixd.....ipawds.com/ there are only two posts on it and the first post has pictures of her. The second post has pictures of her doggy family. I took a bunch of pictures of her two weekends ago that I hope to have the opportunity to upload tomorrow evening.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

That is such wonderful news...keep doing whatever it is you are doing...it's working just fine. Phoenix is such a handsome boy with sweetness exuding out of every whisker on his face!! The photos of all your dogs are adorable. Very loving group.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Happy 6 month Ampuversary, Phoenix!!! 
Roxy…Border Collie cross born on approximately October 27th, 2011;
Rescued in January 2012 by Oops a Dazy Rescue & Sanctuary;
Right hind leg amputated on January 20th, 2012 due to a severe spiral fracture;
Adopted on February 21st, 2012 by Teena, a devoted human & Charlee, a purebred BC.

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
