Another fantastic article by Dr. Intile (and now Norah's Onocologist!)....I really suggest you sign up to get them emailed to you every wednesday or you "like" her on facebook. Her articles are terrific!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. EXCELLENT article. Really puts things into perspective.
I was also really glad to see that the petmd site really is "staffed" & supported by super-qualified vets, because I used their online "ask a vet" service before Kermit's surgery. I was very pleased with the response at the time but it's nice to have verification!
