Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
As Mom and I can't fly, there is no way either of us could ever get a good picture of Sintra Palace so Mom went to the net and got this picture to publish here.
Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and dates back to the 8th century, before Portugal existed as a Nation.
The original Palace was built on the 10th century but after King Afonso Henriques (the first Portuguese King) conquered Sintra in the 12th century he took the castle for his use.
The Palace was added on during the 15th and 16th centuries which resulted in different styles (Gothic, Manueline, Moorish and Mudejar) and was inhabited continuously from the early 15th century to the late 19th century.

Wheeeeee! I finally had a chance to see what you've been up to, what a TREAT! Oh my gosh the fact that you can sweet talk a police officer out of a ticket is proof that you are indeed an angel here on earth darling Eurydice. You cast a magical spell upon all who meet you and their life is changed for the better, forever.
I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it is to see the amazing places you're visiting, places that most of us are never going to get to see or experience. Thank you for taking us along on your travels! More please!

This door represents the Manuelino style also known as Portuguese Gothic style which existed during King Manuel I reign (1495-1521)
