Maybe Mom hasn't noticed the sign saying no dogs allowed ???

Well, it turns out Mom had noticed the sign but she laughed a big, big laugh and pointed out to me this is France, the NUMBER ONE dog loving country in the world !

And she added "do you want to see what happens?"

She went in with me and asked if it was ok to have me sitting next to her inside whilst she was having lunch

The answer was:

"But, of course! We have to have that sign there, you know, but it only applies to trouble making dogs, all friendly dogs are welcome!"

And then they added "we actually never had any dogs who caused trouble before"

Very sorry if Mom and myself are hurting any English person's feelings but France truly IS the most dog friendly country in the world!

Any doubts, just take your dawg with you and go on holidays there and see with your own eyes !

At the petrol station we met Patrick and Yves who came by to give me cuddles and Patrick was apologising because he had no treats for me but Mom pointed out he could give me cuddles and I would be a very, very happy dawg (which I was, of course)

After a short cuddling session (cuddles are never enough, are they?) I was feeling a little bored ...

After lunch and as we were heading towards the exit, I started sliding about on the floor and got my breaks on so Mom couldn't get me out.

You see, I was so excited when I got in that I didn't even think about the floor and hoped quickly to the table's area but for some reason that even I don't know, going out I realised the floor was slippery and I could potentially slide so it was a NO for me.

Well, you would not believe!

Staff came out of the kitchen, from behind the tills and counters and all of them gathered around me deciding what to do to help me.

They came up with a plan, and got carpets (who were at the entrance and other particular areas) and built a path for me to walk out !

Mom was so moved I could see she was swallowing tears ...

And the crazy thing is some of the staff were swelling tears too ...

Mom didn't video this but she told me afterwards she really regretted not having done it because it was one of the most precious moments we had so far.

For the record, it is the Avia petrol station somewhere near St Tropez and before Frejus.

The waiter was really surprised with my size and pointed out normally they have little dawgs coming in with their pawrents and not HUGE ones like myself ...

OK that's IT, we're going to France NOW! I'm seriously jealous that doggies are so loved and accepted in public places there.

I can totally picture that scene in the restaurant, with staff getting the red carpet rolled out to help you along. It's only fitting for a queen like yourself. What a beautiful thing to watch.

And yep, there's been times when our Wyatt had similar episodes on slippery floors. We have no idea why some he's totally fine with but others he panics. I guess it really is like ice skating without skates eh? Heck I can't even ice skate myself, so why would I expect my dog to do it?!

Hi there Jerry 💗

Oh boy, would I 🐮 LURVE to have Wyatt joining us 👍🏼 we would paint the whole country red 🔴 nobody would resist our combined cuteness 🏹🎯☺️

And yes, your pawrents are quite right, hopping about in slippery floors is indeed like ice skating without skates ⛸⛸⛸💥🚪

So ........ here's what I've been doing in the past couple of days 🐸

I was getting beyond bored but after a few hours Mom took me to the garden for me to stretch my legs and I was a happy bunny hopping all over the placeclown
