Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Well, can I tell you something ?
I am sure Marcos was swallowing tears and so was Mom ...
I know in my heart he shed a few tears when we left and I saw Mom crying in the car too, with Travis "The Man Who" album playing "Driftwood" quite loud so I wouldn't hear ...
It suited me as I was also shedding some tears myself in the back ...
When we love each other so much sometimes our hearts get too overwhelmed as we never know if we will meet again, nobody can be sure of that.
But as we moved along towards France our mood got brighter and Mom and I were smiling again.
Life has to move on and the memories of these wonderful days spent with Marcos, Alvaro and their family are kept right there in mine and Mom's hearts
Marcos was the first person who saw me, he delivered me in fact.
In Portuguese being born is "being given to the light" and that is what Marcos did for me, he brought me to the light
I am forever thankful for that
