Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Thank you Alison heart

Danes always think they are small lap dogs and love to get their gigantic butts on people's laps big-grin

But I've started my doggie career with a daschund and he thought he was a big dog !

I remember he used to try and get as "tall" as he could on top of his nails to try and mark trees and lamp posts as high as possible clown

LOVE all fluffies, 4 legs, 3 legs, 2 legs, fur, beaks, feathers you name it, there is no better exercise than to observe them and enjoy their company heart

Sending you big a bear hug and cuddles to precious Shelbyheart

Otis sits in my lap like that too.  We call him the "10 pound puppy" when he does that.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

Happy 3 months Eurydice!

She is sooooooo gigantic!  I've had small dogs for years, but I had a Newfie mix when I was younger who weighed in around 140-150 lbs.  He wasn't a lap dog, but he loved to sit on the couch.  He would back his butt up on the couch and sit with his front feet on the floor!

It's funny, Tripuggle Elly weighs around 16 pounds and is decidedly not a lap dog.  She has been with me for about 9 months now and only once has climbed on my lap and gone to sleep and that was some time last winter. She will jump on me when we are playing but doesn't stay long.  Maybe she needs the drum treatment!

It seems all big doggies like to land their butts like that on whatever is availablelaughing

Yep, Elli probably needs the drum treatment laughing she is sooo cute (I saw your video doing strengthening exercises will her) it must be hard not to get her on your lap for a good cuddle !

Lots of cuddles and kisses going your way heart
