I hope you can surprise her more with a big celebratory burger later on
Now there's a plan! Burgers all round, I think.
Thank you, Teresa. Big hug to Eurydice and to you!
And thanks, Christine too. We are indescribably relieved. The best possible news. I still can't quite believe it xxx

Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
Oh, another thing.
Please feel free to share everything concerning your 4 legged girl, the three of you are a big part of this community without a shadow of a doubt
I didn't see this until after I'd posted, but that is SO kind, Teresa, and so sweet of you to say. Thank you

Well that is just fantastic news!!!!
And no worries about posting about your quad-pawd... you'll notice many of us who no longer have our tripawds want to stay connected to this community we love so dearly and give back (as you do... always and always and more and more)... I call little Jasper Lily an honorary member of the community since her spirit big sister indeed sent her to me! And we saved each other!
HUGS!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
YAAAAAAAAAY FOR ELSIE PIE AND EVERYONE AT PIE PALACE 🙂 🙂 🙂
We LOVE, GOOD NEWS!!! 🙂
I love how the Surgeon assessed Elsie with the vision of what a letter would look like after surgery! What a great approach!!
And goodness gracious, this site is for AYONE who loves their dogs or cats!! Yes, usually becoming a tripawd is what brings people here....but we embrace the whole family, not must the three leggers! Omce a family member, always a family member....and thst includes any new additions as the years go on!
We LOVE Elsie Pie!! Soooo glad ssurgery has been aavoided!
Well Miss Elsie, your plan for extra attention failed .miserably...but it was really a brilliant success! A d the best part? We got to see another adorable picture of you!! 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Lots of love!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I agree, Sally. I loved it too. And now I AM going to write him a letter thanking him for NOT performing unnecessary surgery, and telling him what a lovely time Elsie is having. I've so experienced the opposite that I REALLY valued his egoless, straightforward approach. I also thought, should Meg ever need advice concerning her remaining elbow (which has dysplasia and arthritis) I will know who to go to, which is immensely reassuring. He was a total poppet.
And thanks Sally, Alison, and the whole tripawds community, for embracing our little family so warmly.
Lots of love

AWESOME!
What a wonderful turn of events, and the surgeon sounds great as well.
I'm heading out to lunch soon, I will have a burger in Elsie Pie's honor!
And ditto what the others said about posting. For one thing this is a very knowledgeable community about all manner of dog and cat issues, it's only logical to ask questions here.
Besides, once you join Tripawds your whole family is part of this family, even the odd quad-dogs like Elsie Pie!
