My last afternoon in DC, after the BRILLIANT Tripawds party. Feeling bereft of animal (and human) company, I made my way to the AMAZING National Gallery of Art to see who I could find. I definitely found Mona, and Frankie too, Elly the pug mutt's parents were there, a close relative of Elsie Pie, and then of course there was Uno.... See who you can spot in the pics below...

Thanks everyone! I agree they're all here. What I love is the attention and affection and care that's gone into each little portrait. I think that's why they remind us of our babies.
Holly, the pig IS Elsie Pie's close cousin. I mean really lol
CharlieBear, I looked long and hard for a pic of Ruby Too, but the only rabbits I could find were, shall we say, not in the healthiest condition.... and generally in the mouth of a dog. I have NO desire to reopen hostilities with the Rubinator, so opted to play safe....
Here are a couple more I forgot to upload.
That spaniel looks like a tripod to me, unless they just forgot to paint another leg
Just landed back in Blighty
Sorry, can't help it. The National Gallery of Art is TRULY AMAZING!!!
Now on last leg of my journey, a train from London to Norfolk. An hour and a half till I see my girls....
Love you all

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
