Wow! It has already been 8 days. It's so hard to believe that so short a time ago Munchkin was walking on three legs and dragging his fourth. He is so happy go lucky. He loves to run around outside and has even begun hassling the cats to play again. Needless to say he still gets the same answer, a hiss and paw swipe. We were moving things around the house today and ended up with a piece of cardboard. Munchkin decided he would grab it and run around the house. He was trying to figure out why he couldn't see through the cardboard. I almost died laughing.
I am so glad I made the descion to amputate, now I have my happy puppy back.
Doc told me it will be ok to have him neutered in a couple of weeks, so I will be calling mspan. Then no more surgeries I hope. I guess I am done rambling for now. I will let you guys know how stitches removal goes on Monday.
Lynn, Patrick, and a very happy Munchkin
Ramble all you want, this is great news!

Glad to hear Munchkin is doing so well! Maybe someday those monkeycats will see the light and play with him!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
