well, hopefully many of the members of the group that are having any mobility issues and or oncerns about whether their pup will ever be ok, as you can see Cooper is no fast mover, he never was. 5 weeks ago when I picked him up at the vet and he laid there like a limp rag doll and looked more dead than alive I sure wondered how he would turn out. He turned out just fine! so always be pawsitive towards your pups and they will reward you handsomely with their efforts!

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

That's pawesome Coop! Jerry did the same thing... he learned to slide down the wall to help support himself on the way down (See @ 1:20 and 2:30 below). Brilliant dogs must think alike. Going up was no problem...

I'm back from the river and 
First it's cat calls to Homer by Comet and hotty totties by Gayle and now here. Coops, a man dog's world is not that different from a humans. It's so very tough and unfair being a guy. Used and abused.

Look Look Coop! The monkeybutt – King of Monkeydogs is getting soft. Look at this post he made earlier today. I even had to correct his spelling. What a softy!!!!! 
They can't handle the heat Coop. There definitely on the run now. I bet Maddie is back in jail.

It's so troubling when they have skeletal issues along with being a tripawd.
Don't be surprised if he is just sore and goofy from the anesthesia. I think when they are getting xrays, they twist and pull them around like rag dolls. Every time I look at Comet's xrays, I often wonder how they contorted her like that!
Comet has always been sore afterwards and I've seen the anesthesia stay in her system for a few days.

Bella - you are welcome, you are certainly one of the ones I hoped would see the video, and Im so glad you did. I worried nonstop the first 3 weeks after Coopers surgery and during that time it was videos and posts from all the great members of this family that kept me pulling!
