Oh, what a wonderful surprise my mommy and I got in the mail today! Some beautiful knitted "Power Socks" from Jane and Gayle for my mommy! (we think Charon knitted them because they are so special!) Mommy said she was so excited and she even teared up a little! I, myself was just relieved they fit since she has ginormous bigfoot feet! But she said that even if they hadn't fit, she was going to make them fit unlike Cinderella's step-sisters! Because she wasn't giving them up!
The best part of the package was my gift! It was a special knitted toy with even a squeaker! It was made from pieces from all the tripawd socks that were given out! It's so special to me because monkeybutt has torn up all of my toys and I have none now. I have never, ever, ever torn up a toy and had a collection going until … (oh, skip it.)
Anyway, I said to mommy – "Quick, get the camera so we can show off my new toy and thank all of the girls at once!"
So, I thank you so much for the special toy (that I will have to hide), Charon, Jane and Gayle!
Oh yea, mommmy said it was for the videos of Jane and Gayle – but I don't care what it's for – I GOT A NEW SPECIAL TOY!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

comet you are too kind!! glad you like the toy - and it's ok with us if monkeybutt gets a chew or two..it's probably pretty indestructible...with all we've been through this year, there's quite an assortment of 'yarn ends' for toys!! knit, knit, knit...
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Oh that is one special toy there – I can see a piece of my tripawds socks on it too (the blue knit). Such a lovely and special gift – so glad that Comet was able to keep it away from that Monkeybutt….love those pictures of Comet protecting her toy.
P.S. Rugby's shelf- that is incredibly special too….
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
We just loooooveee our Tripawd family. The absolute coolest in the world!
Comet, you are just beaming in those pics. Smiling really becomes you!
MB, we think you have your own charming pawsonality traits too. They just don't show up as much as Comet's!

Well, I got a extra special treat this morning! I didn't realize how wonderful mommy's gift was until THIS! They are so soft and snuggly!
Note: her door stopper feet! Jane and Gayle must have known that she needed the XL version - cuz they are a perfect fit!
