Hi,
I just adopted a new chihuahua this past Saturday. I found the ruffwear smallest harness is to big. My new dog, Bo, only has 2 small stumps for front legs, he was born like that. I'm worried that the harness wont stay put since one strap goes around his chest, and the other under the neck. There are no legs to hold it in place. Does anyone have any ideas on what kind of harness I can buy? I'd like to walk him and lift his front end with the harness and leash, just to give him a break from walking on 2 legs for a while.
Thank You,
Erica
Hi there,
Check out this harness, maybe it would work?

I have this for my (rear) Tripawd...use it when I don't need the extra security/help of the Ruffwear harness .

Did you measure Bo's girth? It is a dog's girth, not length or weight tht determines the proper fit for the Webmaster harness. It has a three point martnigale strap that connect the front chest strap, and the rear strap connects under the belly behind the rib cage. If Bo has any sort of mass left attached to his scapulas, we doubt the harness would slide forward.
Though admittedly, this is a first. If you still think it won't work for Bo, below are a couple other consideration. When do you find a harness that works, please let us know which one you chose!
