Just want to say that I miss my dog. I've been on a business trip since Sunday and I still have 5 more days to go. I miss my family, people and animals alike.

None of the people I'm working with on the road have dogs. 10 days with non-dog people. It makes being away even harder.

Thank god for tripawds.com. I'm logging several times a day to see how everyone's doing.

Also keeping tabs on fifty the two-legged pitbull [on facebook]. Pictures of him always make my day.

Have a nice day, loving dog people. Give your poochies a big hug for me.

I'm glad my business trips are usually 3-4 days. I would hate being away from my pups for 10 days sad It's even worse being with non-dog people...that really bites.

I will give the golden girls extra hugs & treats in your honor.

Ugh, that sounds ruff.

Gonna go hug Abby right now. Hope the rest of the time flies by!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Ohhh that's a long time! I'm so sorry! Just keep reminding yourself about all of the cool stuff you can get for the fur kids.

There are humans without dogs, by choice? Sheesh, how sad is that?! Poor people!

Why would you choose to not have a dog?  I don't get people.  Hang in there!  Maybe the next days will fly by for you...and soon you will be getting the jellybean dance from Rumbles.

Ugh...just had to add two more days to the trip. And then I have to come back in two weeks. Wish I could fit Rumbley in my pocket and then he could travel the world with me!!!

Have yet to find any good dog treats...I'm in the remote Italian countryside and the few "Cane" shops that I've come across all have American grocery store stuff...Purina, etc. Oh! Maybe I'll get him a few cans of sardines (hmmm...can dogs eat sardines)? way-confused

Sure! They're a great source of fish oil and other nutrients. Jerry often got sardines – or mackerel, or canned salmon – as part of his canine cancer diet. Just be prepared with some green clay if Rumbles has a sensitive stomach.

That's great news…I thought the little fishie bones might be a problem. I'm sure he'll love them.

I used to put fish oil drops in the dogs' water until Punchie started to submerge her head in the bucket. The whole house smelled like a bait shop. Then we just switched to gel tabs. Much less fun. But sardines are much more treat-r-ific. Yay!

Tate LOVES sardines and Italian sardines are probably premo!  But they are so stinky!  Much worse than fish oil.  Handle with care!
