So I have always wanted to do this and I finally did. I ordered the Mars Wisdom Panel DNA kit for Biscuit and the results are in. What do you think he is? My guess is some type of terrier mix. Look at that face

I certainly would "think" she has some Terrier relatives! Maybe even wouldn't be surprised is there was a little bit of Golden Retriever mixed in her heritage too.
Obviously the dominant gene is......the CUTENESS gene!!! How.long before you get the results?
How old is Biscuit now?

To this day I regret never doing this for Daisy. My babies have always been mutts but it is so much fun trying to figure out what they are. Biscuits results are in...I just want to know if anyone can actually guess it. Looks can actually be deceiving

Biscuit is only 16 lbs. so probably not Wolfhound. Funny that is what I always thought Daisy had in her...wolfhound/lab mix. Wish I had done a DNA test on her.

I think you're spot on about Daisy's generics. Wolfhound, Lab...maybe some Sheepdog and a bit of Schnauser (?)
Now, back to Miss Biscuit. Okay, add maube Jack Russell, a small bit of Cocker Spaniel...I still think a Golden Retriever somewhere in her past way back...a touch of Poodle?

You got one of his breeds correct. He's 50/50 Poodle and Chihuahua...a Chi-Poo! I was sure he was going to have terrier in him

HMMMMM....OKAY! I can see some Chihuahua....can see the Poodle too. But NO TERRIER??? SAY WHAT'?'?
And it seems to be saying that one parent was a Chi and one a Poo...and nothing inbetween!! Pretty darn specific!

He's a designer dog (aka intentionally created mutt). He is an F1 cross of a Chihuahua and a Poodle. Those are the only breeds detected going back 3 generations. Who the heck would have guessed that... not me. Lol.
