This is more than a year old, but I know how much Sally loves videos so I thought I would put this here again. I am putting in the link to the original post because there are other fun replies in the original thread. Here ya go, Sally!
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Ow, all the "Ray" dogs......are they related? All from same mom and dad oe what? And all are still with us ? (of course Jerry dawg is always with us)

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Sally, are you saying that you can't load the first video, the one of Dakota and Evelyn?
As for the Ray and Rae dogs, there is indeed a story. Maybe Jerry or Admin will tell you...The short answer is you have to be a GSD to be a Ray or a Rae. So they are all kissing cousins, I guess you'd say.
Anyway, let me know if you cannot load the video with Dakota and Evelyn and I'll see if I can get some help. I could watch it when I started this thread earlier today.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

The Rae/Ray dogs are all from the Oaktown Pack, which came about as a result of German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California, which our friends Martha and Ralph were involved with. Codie Rae, a rescued Tripawd of theirs, was named in honor of her Momma Martha's first GSD, Rosa Rae. Then Tripawds Spokesdog Wyatt came along into their pack, and he was also a rescue Tripawd so Martha named him Wyatt Ray Dawg (the Dawg is in honor of yours truly, Jerry G. Dawg). Travis Ray followed him, then Austin Ray. Now, all of these dawgs are part of the Oaktown pack but Wyatt belongs to Jim & Rene. Clear as mud?

Makes sense to me, but we speak GSD here anyway. So could Okey Dokey Smokey I'mSoDamnExcited Cletus Goober Kemp be a "Ray", too, or would he have to be a tripawd GSD? Not sure where I'd fit the "Ray" in but just wondering.

Liz, I believe that Smokey can be a Ray. I don't think leg count matters, but if it matters to you we can tie up one of his legs underneath him.

Thank you for the vote, Shari; Smokey is deeply humbled to add a "Ray" in honor of the Tripawds West GSD's to his ever-increasing list of names. No need to tie a leg up; when Roxie came hopping home from ampu surgery he developed a limp of his own. Have a pic somewhere of him wearing his Solidarity Sock in support of his older sis, and to protect his owie paw. Has since had Solidarity 'Rhea and Puke, but we won't go into that. Roxie just thinks he's an idiot, but a good companion.
Meds? Mom don't take no stinkin' meds....and that may be the problem!
