Many of you saw the photo of the big Barney box arriving in Reno, NV. Thank you Michelle and Sassy for passing it along. Barney is now a guest at the home of Spirit Tripawd Therapy Dog Jake, Spirit Tripawd Finley, and Tripawd Julia (aka: Princess Poo Poo Pants).
Jake would have carried Barney around. Safely placing him within reach, but never ripping or tearing into the plush purple exterior. From the time he was a pup, Jake had a favorite plush toy: "Pallo".
Now Finley would have already torn Barney to shreds. The white fluff would be all over the house and the lifeless plush skin would be tossed all over the house. The head most likely on the couch, were Finley would drag all his toys.
Unlike her siblings, Julia could care less. Being forced to pose with Barney has not amused her at all! Today she barely put up with showing Barney some of the downtown Reno sites. Hope you enjoy these photos much more than Julia enjoyed posing for them!

Maybe Julia isn't impressed with all the other dog slobber smells on Barney! I'm sure Barney is enjoying the visit, even if it is putting a kink in Julia's style.

Julia - You have been a great hostess to Barney. I'm just glad you didn't push him in the Truckee while watching the ducks!
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

If you're not gonna tear him apart than indifference is definitely the next best thing Julia. Old Barney loves to be fussed over. Being ignored will be tearing him up on the inside

Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. Julia's last day with Barney... just the same as the first. Took Barney to Washoe Lake to play with tripawd Serj, Serj's fur family, and Julia's new brother: Duke. She has had enough ignoring Barney for now... where will he go next?

What a beautiful day you had out there! Oh well, Juilia has her standards I guess, I'm glad that she at least got to meet him. Thank you for being so good to the little beast! We're anticipating his next assignment.
