From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Beauty this good takes a lot of sleep.
How is that Samson and his mobility? Daisy too? Is she still improving? Sure hope he is feeling better and always cheering for Daisy!
Samson has tolerable days and not so good days. We decided not to continue accupuncture. He can walk outside on his own to do his business but we no longer go on walks, his back end just cant hold up. He is 13 and we will just keep him as comfortable as we can. I have been lifting him into the pool because he always loved to swim in our stream, he just cant walk the 1/2 mile to get to to it anymore.
Daisy is doing fine. We have finally resigned ourselves to the fact that she will not regain enough mobility to ever fully leave her cart but thats OK. We are installing a 3x10 kiddie pool so we can do aqua exercise with her (dads afraid she will poop in our big pool) I hope to build up the muscle she lost over the winter.
So all in all we are doing OK, enjoying ourselves one day at a time

She is now the official greeter at the rainbow bridge

Daisy and Samson, you are both so amazing. Your pawrents give you so much love and TLC, they are as wonderful as you are. With that kind of love going 'round the pack, life is beautiful. Enjoy every minute. xoxo

(yeah, that's mommy's orange house shoe in the picture – it's kinda been outside a while now – it used to be bright orange but after we tore up the mate, I guess she didn't bother to pick it up!)

Also Samson007.... I am noticing that I am having some tolerable days and some not so tolerable... I also kind of like the couch potatoe way.... could there be some kind of uniting of the forces in the offing?? hmmmmmm.... Food for thought.
To the rest of you monkey dogs... I certainly dont wnat to play ball with any of you ( except maybe Evelyn..... ) and dont any of you think that this news of me having lung mets is a path to easy street for you... Fearless Leader Sooper Dooper Clown Cooper is still on patrol.
