It is All About Dog Day again. Started the day with our hop/walks. Then I gave each of them a bone. Amputation does not improve manners - looked out the window after about five minutes to see the Tripawd with two bones, and poor Tess waiting by the door to come in. So, I let Tess in and we made Roxy's apple and peanut butter doggie cake. Tess loved the part where I added the peanut butter. Otis is now passed out on my bed, cuddling with one of the bones. All About Dog Day sure takes a lot of energy!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
