Having trouble attaching the brush guard onto the harness - I get it to attach form the back to the front but that it's about 3" too long at the chest badge. Also the velcro strap from the name badge on the chest is too long.

Not exactly sure what you're describing here. There is no "Velcro strap" on the Web Master harness , and the Brush Guard will not attach to an EzyDog Convert harness.
If you need help adjusting the harness straps, watch this video.
