Mom has made a great day for me, we are laughing and playing and rocking out to AC/DC back in black… ooOOOO, let loose, escape the noose!!!! 11 months ago today my mom and dad were freaking out, crying, praying that I would live through the surgery.
Today, 11 months later, we laugh, we play, we live 
Dad is coming home today to celebrate after 5 months on the road, a couple of pit stops home but mostly gone. He is coming home to be with me today!!!
We will barbeque tonight, good times with my family and thinking about all of my friends. Thanks for being here for us and we will tip one up for you, mine will be a chicken leg

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.
OH NO! I missed this yesterday! That's okay, because it's worth celebrating ALL WEEKEND!
Sammy we are so happy for you and so happy that your daddy will be with you! We know it's been tough on all of you without him so this is an extra special celebration! Your mommy and daddy love you so much and really that's all that matters! I'll take the "extra lovins" over a treat any day! But hey, if you are getting both....well - it doesn't get any better!!!!

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
BBQ is plenty reason to be happy. Cheers!
