Yep, Tuesday (it's our "Saturday") is Puppy Latte Day. First she visits her fan club at Petco. They call Tuesday MERRY MYRTLE DAY....and I love that!!
Since the weather has been brutal here in Virginia, .iss Myrtle got an extra large Puppy Latte...equals a little extra mess!
Notice the "residual" on the side of the car. The first picture is "leftovers" from the other day. Even snow and ice couldn't penetrate the drippings of drool laced latte!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Franki Huckleberry gets the joy of using Merry .yrtle's squishy whipped cream filled tummy as a pillow! And evervody gets a Merrick Bone on Tuesday too!
"We" havented adjusted to car rides yet. If I crack the window at all, he rhinks he's supposed to try and squeeze through and go after whatever scents are out there! I'm working on it though. We may just jave to make Tuesday "Bring home a bone day" for Frankie Huckleberry...hesq happy...Myrtle's happy...all is good!

Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Sally! Somehow, I am just seeing these! I LOVE her!!! The Yummy pic is priceless! On the one together, I like how Myrtle is on the little bed and Frankie has the whole Barker bed. LOL the mess on the car reminds me of a family trip. I had a cappuccino and was done with it. As we were speeding down the highway at 70 MPH, I put down the window took off the lid, opened the front window and dumped. As the sticky mess flew back across the back window and door, my response was oooops! My hus band looked at me and said, " seriously, what the heck did you think was going to happen. I provided the humor for that trip. Actually, that is pretty much the same dumb stuff I do on a daily basis. Gotta go, thank you for sharing Myrtle and Franklin Hucklberry, they make me smile. TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013.
