Heartbreaking tears for you and with you.  NO ONE COULD HAVE DONE MORE FOR EMERSON.  Sadly though, , we are powerless over so many crappy things that take our pets from us and medical help can only go so far. 

You were able to give Emerson some good extended  quality  time where you created more sacred memories.  He defied the odds, that's  for sure.  And when he told you he was done and ready to be set free from his failing  earthly form, you gave him the selfless gift of release.

And yes, JerseyBoy was at the head of the line to welcome Emerson back home to the Rainbow Bridge.  If I recall, and  my memory  may be off, JerseyBoy liked to swim.  Don't  know if Emerson ever took to the water. but if he did, the two are swimming  in pristine  cool waters having a ball.  

One thing for sure, he is eating heartily  noew and filling up on all sorts of junk food never allowed while in his earth clothes.  And chocolate  and ice cream are at the the top of the list!  And dogs at the  ridge get to roll in the stinkiest, smelly things you could ever imagine  and never have to take a bath afterwards!

Kim, stay connected and share more with Emerson  when you can.  We know, as you do, the next weeks are going to be really rough.  We understand  like no others can.   Pay attention for signs.  Emerson will let you know he's okay and still with you in energy forn.  Promise.  I'm  just so very sorry.
