We got our notice about the Idaho Humane Society's annual fundraising event called See Spot Walk. This year the dog on the flyer and on the t-shirt sure appears to be a Trippawd! We are expecting to be home from vacation the day before the walk (I think), but we will be sending in two entries just so we can get the shirts!

Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Yes and yes. It will be Ollie's first trip to the beach. There will certainly be lots of pictures.
He starts obedience school on Thursday. That can't come too soon. He has gotten quite comfortable here and is getting too big for his britches. When I told the trainer about him, she said, "Oh! I know your dog." She has dealt with a lot of the older, untrained pups. There will be pictures there, too, I would imagine.

We are safe from fires in our area, but some have been all around us. The town where we used to live was under Stage 2 alert this week, but thankfully they have gotten a handle on it. Some of our friends had to evacuate, but they escaped any damage. Lots of smoke here, though.
