See Spot Walk is an annual benefit for the Idaho Humane Society. Well over 1000 dogs and their owners show up to walk in a park in downtown Boise at ten in the morning. Ollie got to walk today. He also won a prize in a Facebook contest and got to go up on stage to accept it. He won a year's supply of Blue Dog Bakery treats and a goodie basket from Shu's Running Store (Mom was the beneficiary of that one). We also got to see Barb Green and Tripawd Tazzie.
Here are a few photos, if my computer will let me post them. It's giving me fits today, but these pictures aren't on the iPad, so I just have to deal with it.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
I find that I misspoke about the number of dogs. The Idaho Humane Society has posted that there were over 3000 dogs on the walk. They raised $112,000.
And for some reason the Photobucket downloads seem to be a bit screwy tonight. I can see two actual photos and two links to others.

We had met Barb two years ago when Gus and Murphy were both with us. Sorry, Barb, it looks like I misspelled your last name...should have been Greene. I kept looking for her this time, and all of a sudden spied that distinctive front Tripawd gait, and it was Tazzie. She got to meet Ollie, but as the walk got started, we were separated. She told me that Tazzie, at age 11 and five years a Tripawd, is slowing down a bit, so they did a half mile instead of a full loop.
