Oh Shelby ... you sure did send me a cute photogenic one for sure~
So months ago I posted a photo of Jasper - in pure dog shame after she had channeled her inner Shelby and destroyed all the paper in the recycling bin. Then a few months later, someone from the Huffington Post reached out and asked if they could use Jasper's photo in an article.
I never heard back until this morning and voila ... check out #9. http://www.huff.....98034.html
I love the caption they wrote for her since it's SO jasper.... and #12 is Jasper's Instagram buddy, Huckleberry Finn - an Australian Kelpie IN Australia! In fact, his photo was the first time I thought Jasper might have some Kelpie in her. He's bigger than her but has her markings and expressions for sure.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh Alison, these are all so cute, but of course JL is the absolute best !! And her buddy the Kelpie does resemble her a lot 😊
She is becoming rather famous in her yoing life, how exciting to be chosen as part of this funny group of pups !! I wonder if they would like her resting-bit€h face as much as this one, lol, I know I do 😂🐾💜

OMD these are all so good. Although I have to admit Jaspers caption made me laugh out loud so I do think hers is the BEST! The expression on that sweet face is totally saying that caption. Just precious Alison! Yup Shelby did a mighty fine job picking out Jasper for you. Hugs to you and the star ⭐️

That expression....that caption...perfect!! Jasper has such a great personality and she's able to show it with all her expressions. And she exudes intelligence too! She would definitely be arguing for an attorney!!
And that Kelpie...WOW!!! Jasper Lily had a Kelpi Grandpa somewhere in her heritage!

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

I believe she is part Kelpie for sure. She's a rescue from Mexico and they told me she was a basenji but she doesn't do the yodel and definitely looks like her kelpie friends.... she's just smaller than a normal kelpie since she's only 20 pounds.
Thank you everyone! It was a fun article to be a part of and yeah... she's a special little girl that has wormed and wiggled her way into my heart! I love her very very much! Except when she's destroying paper products!

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.
