Y'all knew i was going to do it! 🙂 But thankfully (for Jasper and those ears) no real sombrero for her ... just the power of iPhone apps!
We had to pay tribute to her Mexican heritage even though I do know today is a 'fake holiday' ... but Jasper says 'ole'!
Not much knew on the LA front with little Jasper Lily... she's still coming into her own and embracing her terrible twos ... we were at a party Sat night and she snuck a cracker off the coffee table .. now I know she KNEW she wasn't supposed to do that by her stealth movement to snag the cracker that I quickly removed from her mouth because if she had thought it was OK, she would have gone ALL out. And a tired Jasper is a happy mommy!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Alison, This really is cute!! Technology can be great, sometimes !! Jasper L. brings a smile to everyone here, for sure, and I LOVE her manners, lol..... the same as what I am dealing with here with Zuzu, except I truly believe Zuzu is ten times worse right now.....ugh ......we will continue to work on her counter-surfing, and other misc. activities....!!

...that's a first I've heard of for a pup!! Perhaps that was her Mexican heritage shining through since tortillas are used often in their meals. Not very mannerly but quite cute...

LOL Sahana.... ironically, she isn't as huge of a fan of tortilla chips as she is crackers (probably because we don't have crackers in our house so she went nutty for the ones she saw).
The other good news is that she is working on her kitty manners ... she's made friends with a kitty that may or may not be a stray (the people who's house it hangs out at said it wasn't their cat but it has a collar and bell). Anyways ... this cat thinks it is a dog and doesn't run from Jasper Lily so Jasper loves to dance around him.
We don't see the cat every day so Jasper is super sad when we don't see him .. but this was when they saw each other a couple days ago for the first time. Kisses!
I just hope that Jasper can remember these kitty manners when we see other kitties on our walk but sadly, when they run ...she chases like a full on hunter!
